Canada PR Update- Rise in Express Entry Invitations in 2020

The year 2020 has started with a bang, the Canadian government has issued 3,400 invitations under the Express Entry System. The Minimum CRS(comprehensive ranking system) scores have increased to 473.

It is a rise of 6% as per last year’s records. The country is targeting admissions to rise up to 88,800 till 2021 through this category. Talking about PNP (Provincial Nominee Program), the target of express entry invitations is set to rise to 67,800 in 2020 and 71,300 in 20121.

 A defined set of highest-scoring candidates is invited by issuing ITA through regular draws which are conducted in 2 weeks interval usually or 15 days.

The foremost thing is to find your eligibility. The eligibility to apply depends on overall awarded points that are evaluated from factors such as age, education, skilled work experience IELTS (ideally 8777) or English proficiency. A job offer is not mandatory, but having one will qualify you for additional points. The candidates are assessed over their capability to contribute towards Canadian economic & human factors, through their respective profile

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can show their Interest to apply (EOI)*.

The candidates once received ITA (invitation to apply) get the chance to choose the province to live in. Also, 60 days to complete your application of PR with required documents and other assessments. If you get fail in this, ITA will no longer be valid.
