The Canadian Passport Opens Visa Free Doors to Over 165 Countries

There are numerous advantages of being a citizen of Canada. Canadian citizens have benefits that are not available to the permanents residents; such as having an access to great jobs, the right to vote, and a chance to run for political office, and the ability to travel with one of the strongest passports in the world.

According to Passport Index 2019 statistics, the Canadian passports ranks 26th globally and the Passport Power Rank is 5th. The holders of a Canadian passport can travel to 115 countries without having to apply for a visa. For example, when a citizen of Canada wants to travel to Hong Kong, they don't need to apply for a visa. The Hong Kong government allows visitors with a Canadian Passport visa free stay for 90 days.

More than 50 countries open doors to Canadian citizens and give them the option to apply for a visa on arrival or apply for a visa online. For example, when a citizen of Canada wants to travel to India, visitors must apply for an electronic visa (e-visa) which gets issued online. E-visa is applicable for 180 days, with the condition that visitors must arrive at the designated airports provided by the Indian government.

Only 33 countries require you to have a visa before you visit that country. United Arab Emirates sits on the first spot globally with the most powerful passport.

Canada also allows dual citizenship, and if your country of birth also allows dual citizenship, then you can be privileged to have two passports and citizenship of two countries. However, you have to be aware about the different rules and regulations and policies of both the nations.
